- Briefly explain how it will differ from other works on the subject.
- Describe the scope and content of the book. Include a word count and a note on whether illustrations or photos are an integral part of the work. For non-fiction, include a table of contents.
- Describe the book’s potential readership, including possibilities for institutional adoption of the book.
- Describe your professional background and state whether you have contacts or ideas that will help to market the book.
